Such a good night- celebrated Helena's birthday with cheap wine, cupcakes and vintage Mills & Boon books before everyone turned up for the party. Ella was thrown in the bath, shoes and all, 'Nettle-bashing' has once again resumed which meant for a lot of the evening boys would run up and push her over/into furniture. Talked to funny people, danced a lot, accidentally stubbed someone's cigarette out on my hand and managed to keep camera entirely safe.
Eventually someone bounced an exercise ball off the island and broke loads of glasses so Helena's dad asked people to leave. We got a taxi and picked up Ella on the way who was found strolling distractedly down London Road and dropped her off before reaching home to enjoy pasta and American Wife-Swap.
Having a free house is marvellous! Today Jae, Molly and I woke up at one, ate hula-hoops for breakfast and then sang along to Grease in a hungover, yet blissful stupor.
*sigh* this sounds so perfect. xxx
